Raised in a family of medical doctors and armed with extensive tech industry experience, Xavier and Sylvain wanted to create a purposeful company that focuses on dementia prevention, one of the biggest health challenges of the 21st century.

Previously Co-founder & CEO of Peak (No. 1 brain training app) and holds 15+ years in Product Management. Best ‘French Entrepreneur Abroad’ Awards in 2016 and 2019. Carrier of one ApoE4 gene, the strongest risk factor gene for Alzheimer's disease.

COO

Technology business leader, 20+ years experience with a focus on operations, enterprise sales and digital marketing. Former COO at Peak Brain Training.

Life at Five Lives

While we are working remotely, flexible working to us means giving full autonomy in how and where we work. We are welcome to work from home or any other location and free to organise our day around your responsibilities.

We trust one another to fulfill our missions, and don’t believe in micro-management. However, since our team members live in different time zones, we make ourselves available during our Core Hours.

We're a remote-first and geographically diverse team, which means that emphasising communication is of major importance to us. We prioritise instant messaging through Slack, calls for urgent or detailed matters and email for less urgent queries.

While working remotely, we aim to cooperate seamlessly through our many tools. Once every quarter, we meet in person for a week in a new location. This is our opportunity to do some team building and brainstorm new ideas together.

We believe teams are more than just about doing good work, they're about relationships too. Aside from our quarterly meetings, we host remote coffee socials, book club gatherings and monthly virtual socials!
